Nathdwara is located in the Aravalli hills, on the banks of the Banas River in Rajsamand District, which is 48 kilometres from Udaipur. Nathdwara is famous for its temple of Krishna which houses the deity of Shrinathji, a 14th-century, 7-year-old "infant" incarnation of Krishna. Visit the marvellous temple of Nathdwara and Eklingji on this trip that will make you fall in love with the architecture and the eye-catching artwork. The carvings of the temples are also worth examining. This was also the site of the Battle of Haldighati, which took place in 1576 between the Kingdom of Mewar and the Mughal Army led by King Mansingh.
